Monticello Hare Scrambles was

voted #1

District 23 Hare Scrambles for the 2006 event season.

YMCA Camp Manitou Monticello Hare Scrambles has been given another year. Thankfully, the wheels of "progress" move slowly allowing us to hold one more Hare Scrambles at the camp before development of the land begins.

Directions:
YMCA Camp Manitou
Highway 25 south off I94 to second stop light, Chelsea Road.
Head west on Chelsea Road to CR 39. Take left heading west on CR 39 to Briarwood left heading south half-mile on the left hand side to the entrance.


 Sign-Up:
Sunday 8:00 a.m.


Start Times:
PeeWee, Girls & Premier 9:00 a.m. approximately 1 hour
Micro and Macro 10:30 a.m. start, approximately 45 minutes
*NEW* Vintage Class 12:00 p.m. start, 2 laps for the leader
C/Women/Master/Junior/X-Rider Classes 12:30 p.m. start, 2 laps for the leader
AA/A/B Classes 2:30 p.m. start, 5 laps for the leader

Riders Meetings:
PeeWee, Girls & Premier 8:45 a.m. at the start
Micro and Macro 10:15 a.m. at the start
Vintage Class 11:30 a.m. at the barn by sign-up
C/Women/Master/Youth/X-Rider Classes 11:30 a.m. at the barn by sign-up
AA/A/B Classes 2:00 p.m. at the barn by sign-up


Mileage:
10+ mile loop


Terrain:
Rolling hills, pines, woods, grass and fields


Requirements:
AMA card, parent present with minors (racing or spectating)
District card (one day available at sign up)
US Forestry Service Approved spark arrestor
SOUND TEST WILL BE GIVEN must pass 96 decibels as per AMA rules.


Entry Fee:
$50.00 AA Entry.....100% payback
$35.00 Motorcycle Classes
$20.00 Mini Motorcycle
$25.00 Vintage Class
$10.00 X-Rider Class *Limitations apply see additional rules for this exhibition class
With current AMA and District cards.


Gate Fee:
$5.00 per person and all proceeds go to help fund Camp Manitou.

Gates open at 8:00 a.m.


Other Information:
Concessions are available - proceeds go to YMCA
Camping by the lake is available for $10.00 per night.
